		<description>&lt;p&gt;What about a song like &quot;Man of Constant Sorrow&quot; (or any of the other names that tune has)? Would that be considered a standard or a cover? The Soggy Bottom Boys (Union Station) did it about 10 years ago for &lt;em&gt;O Brother Where Art Thou&lt;/em&gt; in two variations (one longer and with a bridge) with several instrumental arrangements throughout the film. I&#039;d almost say that a song like that could be considered a standard, due to its age and longevity. Didn&#039;t it start out as a hymn? Come to think of it, didn&#039;t Peter Paul and Mary sing it? I seem to recall my dad playing that on a PP&amp;M cassette tape in the 80s...&lt;/p&gt;
